Abi Goodyear

I qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Essex in 2022, having worked in dentistry since 2015.

I love all aspects of my role, particularly meeting, getting to know people and helping to build confidence when visiting the dentist.

Holistic health is important to me, I enjoy working to improve oral and overall health, furthering understanding and building foundations for long-term habits.

For much of my career as a Dental Hygienist, I have had the opportunity and continue to work alongside a specialist periodontist. I find it incredibly rewarding to give support throughout the journey and see the positive impact that improving oral health can have on confidence and overall wellbeing.

When I’m not at work, I’m usually just as busy! My time is spent with family and friends, travelling and exploring new places, or enjoying a quieter day at home. I love cooking, reading, practising yoga and getting stuck into the garden.
